Links for Extending Learning at Home

These are resources that our Eastin teachers regularly use in class. Not all teachers use all of these resources, however, your child should be familiar with those that have been used in class. Where applicable, a grade range has been provided. Students should use their NHUSD Google accounts to log in. If you need account information, please email your student’s teacher.

Clever (1-5) Access to Wonders (ELA curriculum), Pathblazers (ELA and Math resources), A-Z Learning (to see a video demonstration of how to log in to Clever, see the mp4 file at the bottom of this page)

These are additional resources that are widely available on the web. While these are not necessarily used by our Eastin teachers, they are resources that parents may be interested in.

Mystery Science (TK-5) While teachers utilize this platform, students do not log in. This portal allows for parents to sign up for free do at home mini-lessons.

BrainPOP (TK-5) Fun content for kids that includes videos, quizzes and more. Content is broken up into core subjects including English, Math, Science, Social Studies, STEM, Art, Must, SocialĀ  Emotional Learning and more.

Storyline Online (TK-5) Children’s books featuring celebrity actors reading along with book illustrations.

Prodigy (1-5) A curriculum-aligned math game for students in grades 1-8.

Kahoot! Study at Home Learning games to study at home.

Common Sense Media (TK-5) 50 books all kids should read before they’re 12.

Educational Netflix Shows (TK-5) A list of shows that students will learn from while watching.

Card Games (K-5) A list of card games that will help your student practice math while having fun.
